You can Ganesh with play dough. This is really very nice for people who don't get ganesh for Vinayaka chathurthi. Its very easy...All you need is couple of colors of play dough,nail polish,few buttons or any chamki for jewelery.

Method: Make a small ball & a big ball. Attach both of them using a small tooth pick(or agarbathi stick). Again little dough and make ears....just by pressing each of them to the shape of the ears of an elephant. Add hands and legs. For more details mark 4 lines in the hands to make the shape of fingers and add a thumb finger too. Same goes for legs. Now the long nose. make it thick and little fat near to the face and then slim it out at the end and curve it out .make a long snake with the dough and then press it to form a reactagle shape(long one) then wrap it around the ganesh.Make a crown of the shape cone and fix it on the ganesha's head. Use a nail paint to color it up Gold and fix any chamki/jewlery on top of it. Draw eyes in separate paper and fix it up on the face of the ganesh. mark any details with color pens if you like. make a small laddu and fix it on the left hand and make the long nose sit on top of it.
